geico is definitely a joke! progressive was actually the lowest for me in my area.

SAVING all depends on alot of factors, but i will tell ya from my personal experience with GEICO. i have had geico for over 20 years now and i remember when only active duty military and federal employees were eligible for insurance. now they are nationwide and personally i really dont like that!! anyway i have shopped around with just about every other insurance carrier around including progressive and in every instance geico is cheaper for me. so i continue to stay with them. i have only had to file 2 claims in that 20 years and 1 of them was for my wife and the other wasnt my fault. so maybe being a damn good driver has something to do with me saving money????

Not always. There are many factors that determine your insurance rate. I would check with your local independent insurance agent.

I wouldn’t buy insurance from GEICO if they were the cheapest company in the world!!!! They buy radar guns/lasers for police departments so they can issue tickets to drivers so GEICO can raise car insurance rates for the speeding ticket you got from the radar gun they supplied!!!!

I saved with Geico – it all depends on your driving history – where you live etc.
