I just spoke with a lady working at a driving school about taking classes for reducing the points for traffic violation. She told me that not all insurance companies will be generous enough to not raise your insurance fees even if someone takes safety classes and gets his points completely reduced. Does anyone know GEICO’s policy about this? Will GEICO raise insurance fees even if someone goes to traffic school and gets his points completely reduced?

The best way to find out is to call Geico and ask one of their knowledgeable staff (and get their name so you can quote it later, if it turns out to be controversial information).
Most stats have laws stating that a carrire is not allowed to increase rates when the driver is allowed to take classes addressing points ona DL. However (!), GEICO may still increase the rates not knowing that you took the class. You would then need to show GEICO proof that you completed the class. This mix up happens often as it takes awhile for the state to acknowledge that a class was completed and in the meantime, your policy may be reviewed for renewal.
Note: GEICO should send out a note a month or so before the policy renews. If you see that they increased the rates incorrectly, simple call them immediatly so that they can look into the matter prior to the policy renewal date.
